Out of Blue reveals the breathtaking landscape
of Uganda, but also shows various places which suggest elimination,
extermination, erasure. The history of black Ugandans slaughtered
by Idi Amin and many Asian and African residents expelled from Uganda
1972 provide a background for Out of Blue.
The intense soundtrack shows what is not visible, the birdsong disturbed
by threats and echoes from a great horror.
