| Since 1998 Baltic Art Center
Visby has organized a number of exhibitions and seminars within the
field of Contemporary art; in Visby as well as in Stockholm, but also
in Szczecin, Riga, Bornholm, Lissabon, Athen and Barcelona. BAC started
up in Björkanders Warehouse in February 2001. This also marks
the beginning of an independent institution with support from the
Municipality of Gotland, the National Arts Council and the European
Union. |
