NORDIC ARTIST IN RESIDENCE IN VISBY

Artists and other art professionals from the Nordic countries can now apply for a stipend for Artist-in-Residence in Visby.
The new program is a three-year program and the first application round is for residencies during Autumn 2008 (mainly in October and November). You can choose if you want to stay either one or two months.

You are hosted in one of three apartments that are currently under construction in Björkanderska Magasinet in the harbour of Visby. The working facilities that are provided are a table and a chair.

The residency stipend covers travel costs, board, and lodging, and is provided with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers /Kulturkontakt Nord.

Send the application to BAC not later than 31 May, and include contact information, a CV, an activity description, and a proposal regarding how you wish to use your time in Visby. The most convenient for us and the environment is if you send your application over Internet. No particular form is needed.
